The Catarina Collection

I am so excited to introduce the Catarina Collection, our first summer collection ever! When I started thinking about a source of inspiration for this collection, it didn't take me too long to land on a dreamy Italian coastline. I found myself scrolling down Pinterest, pinning every colorful beach scene I could find. Images of perfect rows of blue and white striped umbrellas, calm turquoise waters dotted with humble fishing boats and heaping plates of pasta served alfresco, all ended up on my inspiration board. Creating a collection to both daydream about, and honor my own Italian heritage was a wonderful opportunity to get creative. 

The Inspiration

I imagined the kind of jewelry I'd like to wear on a dream vacation to Italy and found myself wanting pieces that were easy to dress up or down. I wanted jewelry that would work on a guided foot tour of Capri with a breezy linen dress or pants, but also work on a candle lit dinner over the Mediterranean sea. Beaded detailing and brightly colored gemstones reflect the colorful architecture of the buildings in Cinque Terre, or the blue green waters of Sicily. The name "Catarina" is a sly little nod to my own middle name, "Catharine". 

What's Different 

With this collection we are introducing not just new styles, but new concepts. We have longer length necklace options, and bracelet styles that are easily adjustable and more accessible to put on and take off. The stud earrings from this collection can be worn with or without the ear jacket, and the jacket can be worn with a favorite pair of studs from the wearers own collection! And of course, all of our stacking rings run from size 4.5-15 and pair perfectly with the twist ring from our debut collection.
